OET requirements for the Medical Council of Ireland: what score you need
The Medical Council of Ireland regulates doctors in Ireland and sets the English language evidence international medical graduates need for registration.
OET Medicine is an accepted route. The required grade is the Council's to set and is reviewed over time, so confirm it before you plan around it.
THE OET REQUIREMENT
The Medical Council of Ireland has commonly required grade B, a numeric score of 350, in each of the four subtests on OET Medicine. Verify the current requirement on the Council's website.
WORTH CONFIRMING
Any rules on combining sittings or on result validity are set by the Council and change, so confirm the current terms directly.

PREPARE FOR THE GRADE
Whatever the exact figure, Writing and Speaking are the subtests most candidates lose marks on. WardPass marks practice letters and role plays in seconds against the published OET criteria, and tracks a readiness estimate per subtest toward the 350 line, so you know whether you are on track before you sit the test.
