OET requirements for AHPRA (Australia): what score you need
AHPRA administers registration for most health professions in Australia on behalf of the National Boards, including the Nursing and Midwifery Board and the Medical Board. English language competence is governed by a shared registration standard.
OET is an accepted test under that standard. The exact requirement and the rules around it are set by AHPRA and the Boards and are reviewed, so confirm the current version before you plan.
THE OET REQUIREMENT
AHPRA has commonly required grade B, a numeric score of 350, in each of the four subtests. Confirm the current minimum for your profession on the AHPRA website, since the standard is periodically updated.
